Although Photobiomodulation Therapy (PBMT) is increasingly available throughout the medical world, the primary application continues to be soft tissue and orthopedic problems. Realizing the powerful anti-inflammatory effect of PBM, in 2010 Dr. Hirschberg piloted applying this modality to a variety of organic diseases.  Although his clinical focus is using PBM (a.k.a. laser therapy or red light therapy)to treat chronic kidney disease, the principles can provide significant benefit in pancreatic, hepatic and gastrointestinal disorders. He continues to work with clients providing telemedicine services as well as consulting with veterinarians looking to expand their knowledge and application of PBM.
